Our Photo Gallery

Here is a picture of the Great Falls Masonic Temple today and in 1924. It was built in 1914 in a Jacobean Revival style. It has been misidentified in some local publications as being Gothic. But there are no Gothic elements to the building. The wrought iron grill work about the balconies and window wells are decorated with an Art Nouveau style leaf motif on a Prairie style frame. Most note worthy are the  original Art Nouveau style milk glass inverted poppy bronze chandeliers that still grace the upper story Lodge rooms. The Temple is on the National Register of Historic Landmarks. Should you wish to visit, please give us a call and one of the brothers would be pleased to give you an escorted tour.

This is a photo of the original Masonic apron that belonged to the famous American explorer Meriwether Lewis. It is said he carried it with him on his journey West. It is permanently displayed in the Library of the Grand Lodge of Montana. However, for the bicentennial celebration of his and Brother Wm. Clark's  journey, the Montana Grand Lodge loaned it to the Lewis & Clark Bicentennial Commission to tour with their exhibit.

You can read all about Worshipful Brother Lewis history as a Freemason, his Masonic connection to  Jefferson and Br. Wm. Clark, and the symbolism behind his apron by clicking here.

Here is a picture of our third floor Lodge room looking from the East to the West. The lodge furniture is solid mahogany done in a late Regency or Biedermeier revival style.

Our Worshipful Master Alan Frohberg is pictured with our newest Entered Apprentices initiated on March 18th, 2008 and pictured from left to right: Mr. Michael Stobie, The Worshipful Master, Mr. Gregory Alvarez, and Mr. Brian Lundquist

Worshipful Brother Roger and our Treasurer, Brother Gene, pose in front of the Windhoek Masonic Lodge in Nambia during their hunting trip to Africa

Our two new 50 year members Brother Ray Koby and Worshipful Brother James Duffy received their 50 year Pin and Certificate at our Harvest Dinner. Both men have played an incredibly valuable role in Masonry over the last 50 years, and we are so proud to have them as Brothers of our Euclid Lodge.

Our four 50 year members present at the Harvest Dinner were Brothers Ray Koby, James Duffy, Chester Rogers, and Al Johnson

Pictured here are our three honorary Past masters, Worshipful Brothers, Charles Tesch past master of Choteau Lodge, Bill Thrasher past master of Belt Lodge, and Chester Rogers past master of San Diego Lodge.

Euclid's past masters in attendance at our Harvest Dinner covering a span of 50 years from left to right: Worshipful Brothers Al Johnson, James Duffy, Andy Anderson, Al Schmidt, Jerry DeMarco, Curtis Crachy, Tom Duffy,  Bill Rogers, Bill Hunter, Keith Head, and Thom Lehotsky

Br. Dan Schulz holds our little Lodge Princess, Miss Ava. She had a good time at the Harvest Dinner This is a picture of Little Miss Ava's doting grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Schulz. We consider Mrs. Schulz our Lodge Mom cause she always bakes us the most fantastic rum cakes

Worshipful Brother Al Johnson shows a smile of blissful happiness sitting down to Br. Antnee's genuine home cooked Italian dinner. Br. Jim Langley also smiles over his home cooked genuine Italian dinner. Our outgoing past worshipful master Thomas Lehotsky receives the thanks on behalf of the brothers from Worshipful Master Alan Frohberg for his year of service to Euclid Lodge as Master.

Br. Dewey makes sure all is ready as the brothers and their families begin to help themselves to salad, garlic bread, baked Ziti, Italian meatballs, chicken something or other, plus an assortment of cheeses and peppers, and to die for Italian cream cake for dessert.

A Br. Antnee masterpiece: Mozzarella cheese in olive oil with sun dried tomatoes and fresh green basil. It was so fantastic.

Here are our three new brothers pictured with our Worshipful Master Alan Frohberg, and who were initiated as Entered Apprentices in November, 2007. They are from left to right: Brothers Larry Foose, Raymond Luna, and James Porter.

Worshipful Brother Tom Lehotsky writes: "Today we went to the corn maze in Vaughan, what a beautiful day the weather was outstanding.  As you can see the big kids had as much fun as the little kids."

Here is a picture of Worshipful Brother Roger being a little kid. Brother Dennis fell down the same hole as Br. Roger. ....Kids....One just hopes the photographer who took this picture made it out of there in time.

On September 4th, 2007, we initiated our two new Entered Apprentices. Pictured here from left to right are Worshipful Brother Roger, Br. Chris Daniels, EA,  Junior Warden Shane, Br. Cody Meeks, EA, and Worshipful Master Allen.

September 4th was a momentous day in the history of the Daniels family. In addition to taking Br. Chris into the Lodge, we also admitted his grandfather Br. Wayne; who was a Mason in California prior to moving to Montana. His son, and Br. Chris's dad is our very own Br. Bill who was raised as a Master Mason in Euclid. Pictured here from left to right are Br. Bill, Br. Chris and Br. Wayne.

Dec. 4th, 2007, Br. Chris and Br. Larry were passed to the degree of a Fellowcraft. Here they are pictured with our Senior Warden John and Worshipful Master Alan. They both look a little traumatized after the ordeal. They probably were wondering if they had to memorize the orders of architecture too.

The gavel is passed to our new Worshipful Master Alan Frohberg by our Most Worshipful Grand Master of Montana, David Neilsen.

The Brother's, their spouses and kid's pose at the top of Roger's Pass on the way to Lincoln's Lodge annual fish and oyster feed. The Montana Masonic Motorcycle Club poses with their lean machines on the way to Lincoln, Montana. There is no distance too great our Brothers won't travel for a good meal and good fellowship.

Some brothers, out of their love and zeal for the Craft, actually have the square and compass tattooed to their body. Some are OK, and some are exceptional, such as this one received by Brother Aaron. Very reminiscent of the stylistic engravings of Albrecht Druer, it is truly an exceptional work of art.

Here's our Worshipful Brother Jerry at the Euclid Lodge Installation of Officers. We keep an eye on Brother Jerry. Don't let the innocent look fool you. Behind it is pure mischief.

Our Worshipful Brother Thomas Duffy, Grand Junior Deacon of the Grand Lodge of Montana poses with our Most Worshipful Grand Master of the Masonic Grand Lodge of Montana, David Nelson.

Here the brothers and their family members pose before tackling the rough waters of the upper Missouri. Pictured in the last row from left to right is Br. Dan Shulz, our little brother Joey, Worshipful Br. Roger, Worshipful Master Tom Lehotsky, Br. Gene Harrison, Br. Aaron, and some guy with a beer I've never seen before and have no idea who he is. In the front row from left to right is Br. Gene's little boy, Miss Erin, and Miss Ashley. The ladies step up to put the boats in the water as  the Brothers take the time to enjoy some required pre-journey beverages. We all know the importance of keeping well hydrated on a Float Trip, and nothing does this better than a barley and hops elixir. We appreciate the ladies recognizing this, and being sensitive to our needs as men.   What's the point of going on a float trip if there is no food, and plenty of it? Here the Brothers dig in to enjoy barbecue hot dogs and hamburgers with all the fixins.   All in all, a good and fun time was had by everyone.

Pictured here are four of our new Brother Master Masons raised on May 1st, 2007. Pictured from left to right are Br. Michael E. Renne, Br. Paul C. Robinson, W.M. Roger Cathel, W.Br. Al Schmidt who played King Solomon, Br. Shahid J. Din, and Br. Robert J. Mack. A very fine Lemon Meringue pie baked especially for us by Miss Florence was served in their honor at the Masters Table afterwards.

Br. Dennis Deforest is shown here wearing his Grotto black fez and high fiving the special Olympians at the Great Falls Special Olympics Event held in May of 2007. This event, among others, is just one of the public service projects our Grotto Brothers participate in to give back to the community.

Our Secretary Br. Glenn and Past Master, Br. Bill Hunter, pose with our four Bikes for Books winners from the 4th and 5th grades at Whittier School. Worshipful Brother Duffy had the kids laughing in the aisles and everyone had a good time. Br. Duffy also saw that every kid got a stick of licorice. All the brothers were impressed by what a great bunch of kids the Whittier school children are.

Our Meadowlark Bikes for Books winners are pictured here (from left to right) with Br. Dennis DeForest, Worshipful Master Thom Lehotsky and our treasurer, Br. Dan Schulz. As you can see, the kids were absolutely thrilled.

Pictured here are two very excited Meadowlark Bikes for Books winners with our Treasurer Br. Dan Shulz, Past Master Br. Bill Hunter, and Worshipful Master Thom Lehotsky.

Br. Hank writes: "Megan, the kids, and I are all doing well and we all enjoy living on the east coast.  I'm flying a few times a week and it is so different from Montana.  I get to fly regularly in airspace that very few people get to see.  I always think its cool that one of the best landmarks in the area is  the George Washington Masonic Memorial.  I have visited a few Lodges, but I have a strange schedule so my attendance has been spotty at best.  I'm hoping that after the Andrews AFB Airshow, that I'm helping organize, I'll have more time to devote to Masonry.  It funny how the length of my cable-tow changes as I go through different phases of my life.

As for the pictures they where taken during this years National Cherry Blossom Festival."

Our favorite brother Anthony Keel was raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason at our Feb. 6th meeting. Here is pictured with our Past Worshipful Master Keith Head who performed the degree for Br. Anthony. The following new brothers were initiated as Entered Apprentices on February 20th. Our Junior Warden, W.Br. John Jones, served as Worshipful Master. From left to right are Br. John Mack, Br. Darryl Barker, W.Br. John Jones, Br. Paul Robinson, and Br. James Peretti. MWGM Thomas E. Valente, Jr. wrote:

My wife and I just returned from Tokyo, where I attended the annual communication of the Grand Lodge of Japan. While I was there, I ran into a member of Euclid Lodge No. 58, Brother Alex Para.... He is in the USAF now stationed in Yakota Air Base. He has become active in Masonry in Japan (no surprise there).

It was a great trip, and a real pleasure meeting a Montana Mason in Japan.

Our much beloved and favorite Past Worshipful Master Jesse Shaw passed away on Wednesday, March 28th, 2007. His funeral was held Saturday, March 31st. Worshipful Brother Thomas Duffy gave a moving eulogy. Worshipful Master Tom Lehotsky shared his touching and heartwarming adventures with Br. Jesse. Worshipful Brother Bill Hunter performed the Masonic funeral service with great dignity as befitted our Worshipful Brother Jesse; a man whom we held in great honor, affection and esteem.

Many people think Masonry goes back to the Ancient Egyptians. But we know now (thanks to Hollywood)  that  it actually extends as far back as the stone age and the Royal Order of the Buffalos, of which Fred Flintstone was a member. Here Worshipful Brother Jesse wears the noble hat of our ancient brothers which his daughter bought for him at Disneyland.

Br. Niles, who is an accomplished and world renowned pianist, pauses to take requests at our Pre-Christmas Christmas Party  caroling.

Our Master Chef, Br. Roger, assisted by the able Br. Jerry Hall, prepares the Christmas dinner. Br. Dewey is seen here carving a Christmas duck which we also named after him. The brothers heaped their plates with Br. Roger's Christmas feast, their faces filled with Christmas good cheer before sitting down and enjoying one another's company at our Holiday meal.

On December 5th, 2006 we proudly raised three new Brother Master Masons. They are Br. Dustin Harmon, Br. Ron Zobrak, and Br. William Kudro. Our Worshipful Brothers Al Schmidt and Roger Cathel stand at either end.

Here are the pictures of the brothers ringing bells at Shopko for the Salvation army. From the left are Br. Dennis, Miss Ashley, our little Brother Joey, Worshipful Master Tom/

Here Euclid's finest pose with their boss looking/babe getting Euclid Lodge jackets. From the left are Br. Anthony, Br. John, Br. Alan and Br. Justin.

Of course, the real babe magnets from the Lodge only  come out at night. We save the best for last. Heading up the night shift of bell ringers are Worshipful Brothers' Bill and Anthony with Miss Ashley and Br. Dennis (who was hoping being seen with Br. Bill and Br. Anthony' might give him a little mojo too).

The Worshipful Master insists on having his picture taken with the Worshipful Mojo Brothers Bill and Anthony. I'm surprised any bells got rung with all this picture taking.

Here is the latest picture of our beloved past Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother Gary Boyer. He is a Professor of Police Science at a school in Virginia. Here he is posing with a police car. It looks like he is holding a gun and capturing a bad guy. But actually, he is only holding his pipe.

Br. Anthony gives his wife, Miss Amy, a big hug at our 2006 Thanksgiving Dinner. Miss Michelina, the daughter of our  Br. Anthony and Miss Amy, gives a fancy New York style fashion pose for the camera while modeling her very chic pink Cinderella jacket to show how much she has grown over the past year. We all know that unless the thanksgiving food table is inspected and guarded there may be unauthorized sampling. Of course, in this case, its kinda like trusting poachers with the job of  game wardens. Worshipful Master Tom, Worshipful Brother Keith and Brother Greg are caught performing their duty.

This is a picture of our treasurer's, Br. Dan Schultz's, mother. She is the only woman we have ever seriously considered making a Mason because the rum bundt cakes she sends us are so good. Here she is with a clean plate. Now that tells you something about how good a cook Br. Roger is.

This is a picture of our treasurer's, Br. Dan Schultz's, dad. I pretty much had to take his picture cause I took his wife's picture. Although he seems a very nice man, he can't bake a rum bundt cake. Although, to our gratitude and esteem, he does after all allow his wife to bake us those rum bundt cakes. Lesser men would have never allowed those cakes out of their house.

This is the red face of mischief. Our Worshipful Master Tom shows his mirth at dinner while others savor the fine feast laid out before them.

The folks line up and begin making their way through the smorgasbord of good eats at Thanksgiving, 2006. Always noteworthy is Mrs. Heads green been casserole in a mushroom sauce topped with oven toasted crumbled potato chips.

Here Brothers and their guests get ready to dig into their meals.

Worshipful Br. Bill Rogers tries to cover up his bottle of Lipton green tea after I told him I was going to doctor the photo to make it look like he was drinking a beer.

Worshipful Brother Tom Duffy in the white cowboy hat with the fashionable black trim advises the brothers of Euclid at the Bannock Lodge Picnic to ignore the cut up hot dog appetizers on a toothpick and the coleslaw, and head right for the steaks.

The Euclid Lodge Chapter of the Montana Masonic Motorcycle Club display their lean mean machines in front of the Bannock Masonic Temple after the meeting of the Bannock Historic Lodge this September. From left to right are Br. Tim, Worshipful Master Tom, Br. Shane, Worshipful Brother Roger, and Br. Dennis.

Here is our Worshipful Brother Jerry and his lovely wife, Miss Penny, taking a tour of underground Havre during "A Br. Roger's Road Trip to Masonic Sites of Montana."

Our New Lodge Officers

1st row form left to right: Br. John, Junior Warden; Br. Alan, Senior Warden, Our Most Worshipful Grand Master, Worshipful Master Tom, Br. Anthony P. , Junior Deacon; Br. Dewey, Senior Steward.

2nd Row from left to right: Br. Robert (aka Bobbie), Chaplain, Br. Aaron, Junior Steward; Br. Glenn, Secretary. Not pictured: Br. Dan, Treasurer; Br. Jesse, Marshall, and  Br. Keith, Tyler.

Our Worshipful Master Thomas Lethotsky shakes hands with our Most Worshipful Grand Master of Montana,

Our Worshipful Master Thomas Lehotsky and Grand Master are pictured here with Worshipful Brother Tom's wife Lisa, son Joey and daughter Miss Ashley.

Here's our Brother Tim on his motorbike with a biker's attitude that he is God's gift to wimmen. We let him think that. It does no harm and it amuses his wife.

The two Brothers' Anthony flank the seven winners of Euclid Lodge's Bike for Books Drawing.

Worshipful Brother Anthony would like to publically thank the following brothers for their kind and generous donations to the Bikes for Books program: W.B. Thomas Duffy, W.B. Roger Cathel, Br. Tim Ryan and Br. Mark Widseth.

Br. Hank Luke took these aerial photos of the Temple. Here you can see the square and compass Worshipful Brother Tom Duffy and Br. Jerry Hall put on the roof.  Here is another aerial view of the Temple taken by Br. Hank Luke. Worshipful Br. Jerry plays in an accordion Rapp band when he is in Arizona, and authored the band's only hit: "Git down Brutha".  His stage name is PeaJayDaddy.

Worshipful Brother Edward R. Mattix received his 50 year pin at our stated meeting on Feb. 7th, 2006. Brother Ed was Worshipful Master of Euclid in 1964. He is a past principal of East Junior High school and honorably served in the armed forces from 1946 to 1962.  Worshipful Master Jesse presented him with an impressive certificate from Grand Lodge acknowledging his years of service to Masonry, and the Brothers gave him Grand Honors. It is reasonable to expect one's Worshipful Master to set the example for a little decorum when posing for photographs rather than encouraging an outbreak of merriment and frivolity when the  photographer's is trying to do his job. Especially when that entails trying to capture the solemnity of two brothers being raised to the degree of a Master Mason. The officers and our honored Past Master Mattix pose with our two newly raised Master Masons at the end  of our meeting on Feb. 7th, 2006. From left to right is our treasurer and past master Al S., our new brother Master Mason Ron F., our Worshipful Master Jesse, our other new brother Master Mason Justin M., our Past Master and 50 year honored brother Ed Mattix, and our Senior Deacon Br. Alan.

Our Worshipful Brother Al Schmidt (pictured on the left) and Brother Howard Enloe (both members of Euclid Lodge) were elevated to the 33rd degree of the Scottish Rite on Saturday, December 3rd, 2005. The 33rd degree is the highest degree given in Masonry, and is regarded a rare, distinctive and singular honor. Those of us who know Br. Al and Br. Howard, also know it was very well deserved.  Br. Al is our treasurer; and both he and Howard are very active in the Scottish Rite Language Clinic which provides free speech therapy to children whose parents would find it difficult or impossible to afford such care. Hundreds of children in the Great Falls area have been helped over the years, thanks to Brothers Al and Howard, and their fellow brothers in Scottish Rite. The brothers of Euclid are very proud of them for receiving this well deserved and distinguished honor. Miss Michelina, the daughter of our  Br. Anthony P., plays peek-a-boo with Br. Tom Lehotsky's camera at our annual Christmas Dinner held at the Temple.

Br. Roger prepared us a wonderful baked ham dinner with scalloped potatoes, vegetables, salads and a variety of desserts. Miss Michelina's dad brought a special Italian dish that everybody who tried it thought wonderfully delicious.

Miss Michelina also informed me that Santa had been very good to her this Christmas.

This is a picture of our 4 new brother Entered Apprentices with the officers of the Lodge who performed their initiation. Please see this week's Puddin's Corner (1-20-06) for our new brothers' names and other news of interest.

It should be added that some rather smirky comments and wisecracks were being made to the photographer by some of the officers during the photo shoot. Which necessitated in 5 or 6 extra photos having to be taken. This was the best of the lot.  If the offending officers don't like the way they look in this photo, they should kiss the ground before the photographer that he didn't post any of the others. That's all I'm going to say on the matter.

Our greatly beloved past Worshipful Master David Bakas passed away on November 3rd, 2005.  Brothers and friends are invited to share their photos and stories of what Brother Dave meant to them; and how he touched their lives.

Our Worshipful Brother Tom Duffy presents a token of our affection and gratitude to our new Past Master Keith Head for the fine work he did this past year as our Worshipful Master.

This is a picture of one of our favorite brothers, Worshipful Brother Bill S. , who is pictured here patiently awaiting his supper at our annual Harvest Dinner honoring both our past Master Keith Head, and our Lodge widows. We had a pretty good meal that night prepared by the Eastern Star consisting of roast pork, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad, jello with bits of fruit, and a pumpkin cake for dessert topped with whipped cream.

Here is Worshipful Brother Bill B. enjoying a cup of lodge coffee at the Saturday Coffee hour. Here is Br. Dan S. See the look of bliss on his face. Only coffee and donuts with the brothers can produce that kind of contentment. This is Worshipful Brother Jerry. He's usually up to mischief.

This is Worshipful Brother Tom D. He is the subject in one of our News of the Brothers stories. We all like him alot. This is Br. Archie. He's been a member of Euclid forever. He keeps an eye on Br. Jerry. Br. Roger, Br. Alan, Br. Dave, Br. Tom, and Br. Steve sit around the table at coffee listening to a Br. Alan story.

Here is Br. Huff enjoying a cup of coffee sitting in his new toy, a kayak. You might think this is in America, but you would be wrong. See the trash can painted to match the house at the left. Yeah....only Germans do stuff like this, and that is where Br. Huff is. If you have any doubt, check out the green crushed velvet hunting hat with the big fan like feather on Br. Huff's head.  Here is another picture of our Br. Huff futzing around with his new kayak. Although the kayak is very pretty; what is interesting is what a lovely street he lives on; and how quaint and charming the houses are. In the background you get a good sense of the mountain landscape surrounding the city. You can tell by the fogged up windows that it must have been a cool brisk morning. Br. Huff stands by his new car with fancy racing stripes while having a cup of coffee. Like us, he seems to be  wearing a dawning look of wonderment of how in the Sam Hill is he ever going to fit that kayak on top of that car. Leaving our Brother's moment of reflection, we turn our eyes to the beautiful morning light revealing the surrounding wooded hills in the background. We are happy he is living is such a beautiful place even though we miss him.

Here is a picture of our new little Euclid Lodge Princess, Miss Sarah Elaine Helen who arrived on September 22 at 12:17pm.  She is pictured here with her proud and happy parents, Miss Susan and our very own Br. Kelly. Brother Kelly, who is attending the Army Officer's Training school was given a few days off to come home and meet his new daughter. Here is a very sweet picture of the both of them together. Here is Miss Sarah's dad getting commissioned as a second lieutenant in the army in September. We are all pretty proud of him.

Our Br. Marty stands with some of his Air Force buddies on the North Korean side of the conference room on the DMZ. He was probably the only happy person in North Korea that day. Word has it that Br. Marty will soon resume his daily web blog. Here's a picture of our Br. Marty's first son; Master Jacob Russell Eberly born October 13, 2005 at 3:34 am in the morning. He weighed 8lbs 10oz and measured 20 inches in height at birth. Good job and a hearty congratulations from all the brothers. We expect to raise him to the degree of a Master Mason in 18 years. Worshipful Brother Tom Duffy presents a carnation to one of our honored Lodge widows at our annual Harvest dinner, 2005.  A good time was had by all that evening.

Here's a picture of our Br. Tim in the pool room hassling Br. Roger as he tries to hit the eight ball. At first glance it may appear that Br.Tim has a fat lip. Not that he, in Br. Roger's opinion, doesn't deserve one. But actually he has a mouth full of chaw, which is chewing tobacco. Let's face it. The Lodge is one of the few remaining places where guys can just be guys. And quaint old male customs like chewing tobacco, playing pool and giving one another grief are still respected, honored, and living traditions. Oh yeah, and Br. Tim was also in the 4th of July Parade. He just wanted me to be sure to mention that. Br. Tim is from Texas. He is our cross.

Here is a picture of our Euclid Lodge Princess, Miss Kirby Nesbit of Belfast, Ireland waving to an adoring crowd at the Great Falls 4th of July Parade. W.Br. Anthony and Br. Hank  were her distinguished honor guards.

Our Euclid Lodge Princess Kirby waves as W.Br. Tom and his daughter Miss Cindy drive a fancy cherry red convertable in the 4th of July Parade. Br. Hank is on the left all duded up in his Masonic Regalia. He cut a very distinguished figure and clearly shows, that at times, he can clean up real good.

Brother Anthony points to our secretary Br. Glenn and our treasurer Br. Al at our Euclid Lodge End of Summer Picnic on the Dearborn River. As you can see, the weather was just perfect.

Br. Glenn and Br. Al relax after a delicious lunch of baked ham, homemade potato salad, cheese sandwiches, miracle fruit salad, cup cakes, dessert bars with cream cheese frosting and an assortment of sodas.

Here is a view from Br. Al's cabin on the Dearborn towards needle rock. The river is a short walk away and filled with a variety of trout. The water is so pristine, you could see them swimming.

Of course Masons have many secret rituals, but we also have a lot of good natured fun. We truly enjoy one another's company. Here our Past Grand Master, whom we always affectionately  referred to as "Pooh Bear", plays a little joke on us by visiting the lodge in an actual Pooh Bear outfit. It was hysterical. The lodge brothers were completely caught off guard and loved it.

Pictured here is our Most Worshipful Past Grand Master David Prewett on the left, with Euclid's Past Master Keith Head in the center, with our Worshipful Brother Tom Duffy who is also an officer in the Montana Grand Lodge.

Our Worshipful Brother Charles Bartelt, who is one of Montana's finest Masonic ritualist, sits in the center with his son-in-law, our Worshipful Brother Bill Hunter on the left, and our new Brother Master Mason and Charlie's grandson on the right. Standing in the back on the left is our other new Euclid brother Master Mason Robert Joseph K. Standing next to him is Worshipful Brother Keith Head and Grand Master David Prewett.

Worshipful Brother Chester Rogers is a master woodworker and here displays one of his beautiful hand made clocks which he generously donates to various Masonic bodies to help raise money for their charitable and other activities.

Here our Most Worshipful Past Grand Master David Prewett stands with our Past Master Keith Head for formal portraits at the Grand Visitation of our Grand Master. Each hold gravels with inset bronze Euclid Lodge medals specially made for them by Worshipful brother Chester Rogers

Every year the Masonic Lodges honor our public school educators with a dinner and a presentation with a certificate of Thanks. This year's dinner was held in April and was very well attended.

Our Most Worshipful Brother Donald A. Finan, Grand Master of Saskatchewan, poses with Our own Most Worshipful Brother David Prewett, Grand Master (and Grand Pooh Bear) of Montana after the Canadian Red Coat Third Degree Ceremony and Visitation held at the Great Falls Masonic Temple on April 30th, 2005.

Click here for more details and photos.

Our new Worshipful Master Jesse Shaw displays his expert culinary and barbecue skills at our 4th of July Picnic under the watchful supervision of his wife Tina. and their friend Miss Joyce; wife of our Worshipful Brother Bill Hunter.

Here is our Worshipful Brother Bill presenting a college scholarship to a graduate of Great Falls High School. Euclid presents two college scholarships to deserving students from local high schools attending college. Masonry believes in and actively encourages the enlightenment and upliftment of humanity through education in the arts and sciences. Moreover, Masons activity support and defend public education; and the right of every child, regardless of race, creed or color, to a free elementary and secondary public education, and affordable access by all economic and social classes to a quality university education.

Here's a picture of our new Lodge princess Miss Ava Julia S. She was born on 5/11/05 and is the first daughter of our favorite Br. Dan S. and his lovely wife Amy. Miss Ava weighed 7 lbs and 2 oz. at birth.  She's a cutie.

Br. Dan S. is shown here standing next to a commemorative corner stone for Solomon Lodge No.1 in Savannah, GA. Founded in 1734, it is the oldest active Lodge of Freemasons in the western hemisphere.

Our Worshipful Master Keith displays his Daniel Carter Beard Masonic Award for Scouting presented to him by the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania in recognition of his hard work and tireless dedication to the Boy Scouts.

Here are some of the Masonic widows of Euclid Lodge. Their husbands were our brothers and have now passed on. We hold our widows in great respect and regard and have a special dinner for them every year. Plus they know if they ever need us, we will be there for them.

This is a picture of a few of our esteemed past masters of the Lodge. We also hold a dinner honoring them every year. Don't let their stately and dignified poses fool you. They are pretty much full of good humor and wry mischief.

This is a picture of Little Miss Ashley, our Lodge Princess. We think every lodge should have a princess. So she is ours. Here she is interfering with her Dad's billiard game. As you can see,  like most fathers, Br. Tom endures his suffering with the patience of Job.

Worshipful Brother Bill is called upon for baby sitting activities during Saturday Morning Coffee Hour. The refreshing thing about being a child is that you can go to sleep when Br. Bill talks.

Secretary Brother Glenn (on the left) sits next to Worshipful Brother Jerry; who is enjoying a cup of coffee he didn't make. Br. Jerry is not allowed to make coffee at the Lodge anymore. The story is too long to go into. He is married to Miss Penney who's had to drink his coffee for nigh on 50 years now. She is a saint.

Here is a picture of our Br. Kelly when he was in Iraq. Br. Kelly is a tank commander. He put a Montana Mason sticker on his machine gun. It was nice he was thinking of us.

Two Clowns

Worshipful Brother Bill and Brother Senior Deacon Marty are very active in the Lions Club. This is a picture of them taken at the Lions Club Convention. Needless to say, we were all very disturbed by their appearance in this photo. But they are our brothers, and we have an obligation to  patiently endure their eccentricities.

A few of the brothers gather for a picture after the raising of our Br. Conrad.

Br. Conrad is the fourth generation of his family to belong to Euclid Lodge going back almost 100 years. Several of the older brothers pictured sat in Lodge with all four generations of his family.

Here is a picture of our Br. Tracy with the officers of his new Lodge in Georgia. He was a lot of fun to have around when he lived in Great Falls. He transferred to Georgia so he could retire close to his  family.  We do understand and have almost forgiven him for this.

Montana Mason sticker

Worshipful Brother Floyd N. gives a passionate rendition of "Fever" made famous by Peggy Lee during karaoke at the Lodge.

You know, it's almost a shame Lawrence Welk didn't live to see this. Br. Hank L. took this picture with his cell phone.  It was one of those "priceless" moments.

This is a Montana Masons sticker. The 3-7-77 refers to the number of Masons present at the first three meetings of Brother Masons held in Montana back in the 1860s. It  was also the calling card the Montana Vigilantes  (most of whom were Masons led by Worshipful Master Pfouts of the Virigina City Lodge No. 1).

Our Worshipful Brother Jerry winters in Arizona. Free for six months from the gossips and scandalmongers in Great Falls, he is emboldened to do what he loves most and dare not do here. Namely, play the accordion.

Maybe someday the Polka will be tolerated in Great Falls. But it will probably not be in our lifetime.

Congratulations to our favorite W.B. Gary B., who has just received tenure at his college back east  as an Associate Professor of Police Science. The educational program he established at the school has received widespread praise for both the quality of its instruction and graduates.  Here he is pictured with his most recent graduating class. Br. Gary hastens to remind us that he is the good looking one with the mustache.  In case your still having trouble. He's the one at the end on the left hand side.

Brother Rod has become quite the world traveler. Here he is in Edinburgh, Scotland next to a World War I memorial at Edinburgh Castle. Brother Rod is of Scots descent and a member of the royal Stewart clan. However, we are all grateful he has not taken to wearing the kilt. His latest book is out soon. It is another rip snorting shoot-'em-up western sure to please the readers of all his books.
